    • First, check the current validity of your passport.

    • Second, make sure your passport has blank Visa pages.

    • Confirm if transit visa is required for any connections.

      Check with your airline in case you have connecting flights overseas as part of your journey to French Polynesia. It may be the case that countries you pass through en route to your destination may require a separate transit visa. Please refer to visa requirements of the specific country

      French Polynesia COVID-19 travel restrictions

      • Entry is open
        French Polynesia(Tahiti) is open for some travelers, and domestic restrictions are mostly lifted. Entry conditions vary for vaccinated travelers who are travelling from a permitted country of origin and those who have not been vaccinated.
        Prior to arrival requirements
        Valid passport. Valid national passport with at least 6 month remaining validity after the date of departure.
        Valid visa. Please see the instructions above if visa is needed and apply.
        Negative COVID-19 test is required, taken 72 hours before departing to French Polynesia. Children under age 11 are exempt from presenting a COVID-19 PCR-RT test result.

        Children under 18 traveling with a vaccinated parent or legal guardian must take an additional test (provided on arrival) to be done at day 4 and day 8 which are to be deposited at their hotel or in a dedicated health center.
        📝Health form must be completed within 3 days prior to travel and confirmation and presented at check-in. The form can be found here.

        Passengers must also complete an "ETIS Application" and the QR code must be presented upon arrival. The registration on www.etis.pf must be filed between 30 to 6 days the latest, prior to departure.

        🏠Quarantine for 10 days is required. Vaccinated travelers are not required to quarantine.
