Cameroon visa

Visa application form. Fully completed and signed application form. The application must be typed. Handwritten applications will not be accepted by the Consulate.

Original passport. The passport must be valid at least 6 months after the intended date of departure from the territory of the destination country and has at least 2 blank visa pages.

Passport-type photograph. Include 2 passport style photos, with a white background, taken within the last 6 months. You may also choose to upload a photo to your order for us to print. Itinerary. A copy of round trip tickets or detailed itinerary for the duration of the trip. The applicant's name must be on itinerary.

Yellow fever . A copy of the International Certificate of Vaccination (ICV) for yellow fever. To learn more about the yellow fever vaccination or to locate a vaccination clinic, please visit the CDC's yellow fever resource page .

Certified Letter of Invitation.. If the applicant is visiting a host in the country as listed on the application form they will be required to provide a certificate of accommodation "certificat d'hebergement" which is undersigned/NOTARIZED by Administrative or Immigration authorities in Cameroon. Not required if the traveler is an ex-Cameroonian citizen.

Business Letter. A business letter from either the sending company in the US or sponsoring company in Cameroon. The letter should be printed on company letterhead stationery, addressed to the Embassy of Cameroon, and signed by a senior manager. Business letters from US companies should adhere to the following guidelines:
• Briefly introduce the applicant (please specify employment status/position held in the company by applicant).
• State the nature of the business to be conducted (ie. business meetings, contract negotiations, etc.) and the names and addresses of companies to be contacted in Cameroon.
• Specify the Type and desired Validity of the visa (ie. one year multiple entry business visa).
• Guarantee of sufficient funds for travel.

Old passport(s). Former Cameroonian citizens are required to turn in their old Cameroonian passport. Applicants that no longer have their passport should submit a letter addressed to the Embassy of Cameroon explaining exactly where, when, and how the passport was surrendered. Former Cameroonian citizens can (and should) provide a copy of a previous Cameroon visa in a US passport as evidence the old passport was surrendered.If the passport was lost or stolen, please submit a copy of the police report filed for the passport.
