For online orders, please download, print and sign China visa application, prepared by our system under your account. Application MUST be typed. Handwritten applications will not be accepted by the Consulate. Please note that each page of your application MUST be printed SINGLE-SIDED only. For online orders, please download, print and sign China visa application, prepared by our system under your account. Application MUST be typed. Handwritten applications will not be accepted by the Consulate. Please note that each page of your application MUST be printed SINGLE-SIDED only. Applications printed/signed double-sided will be rejected. If applicant is minor, the application form must be signed by both parents on PART 4 of page 4. One parent has to complete and sign PART 5.

Passport-type photograph. Photo must be 33mm wide and 48mm tall. Please see photo guidelines.

Business invitation. A business invitation letter from the sponsoring company in China. The letter should be printed on company letterhead stationery, addressed to "The Consulate of China, Visa Section", and signed by a senior manager and stamped with the company seal. The business letter must include the following information:
Personal information of the applicant: name, gender, date of birth, passport details, and job title.
State the nature of the business to be conducted (ie. business meetings, contract negotiations, etc.), the dates of the visit, and the names and addresses of companies to be contacted in China.
Specify the Type and desired Validity of the visa (ie. a one year multiple entry business visa).
State who will bear the costs of the applicant's accommodations in China.

Proof of status. A NOTARIZED copy of Green Card (both sides) or other proof of legal status in the US (such as copy of I-20, US visa, H1B approval notice, etc. VisaHQ cannot assist US B1/B2 visa holders at this time.) Must have at least 6 months of remaining validity, no extensions accepted.

Driver's license. A copy of the applicant's driver's license or state issued ID.

Business Support Letter. If working for an NGO, non-profit organization or Government a letter from the employer in the United States. The letter should be printed on company letterhead stationery, addressed to "The Consulate of China, Visa Section", and signed by a senior manager. The letter should indicate the nature of the trip to China, have a job title and a job description.

Previous visas. If you no longer have possession of your previous Chinese visa you may include a letter to the Chinese consulate explaining when and where you received your previous visa and how the passport and visa were lost. The issuance of a new visa will be at the discretion of the consulate.

COVID-19 Vaccination Card. Copy of COVID-19 vaccination record card.

30 Day Travel History. Please provide a list of countries you have traveled to within the past thirty days as well as entry and departure dates. If you have not traveled anywhere please provide a short letter explaining this.

Original passport. The passport must be valid at least 6 months after the intended date of departure from the territory of the destination country and has at least 2 blank visa pages.

Personal invitation. If visiting friends or family, you must provide a letter of invitation from the host in China. The letter must be signed and should be address to the "Consulate of China, Visa Section." The letter must contain the following information:
• Personal information of the applicant: Name, gender, date of birth, and passport details
• Details of the visit: Dates, purpose, places to visit, and places of accommodation
• Details of the inviting party: Name, address, phone number, and relationship to the applicant

You will also need to provide a copy the host's Chinese ID(both front and back sides), or, if they are not a citizen of China, copies of their China residence permit and their national passport's information pages.

Also, if visiting family member who is working in China, a letter from the Chinese company (on company letterhead) confirming the worker's status in China and stating that he/she will be responsible for the family members' living arrangements and expenses.

Proof of Kinship. If applicant is visiting family members (spouses, parents, sons, daughters, spouses of sons/daughters, brothers, sisters, grandparents, grandsons, and parents-in-law), please provide the ORIGINAL and photocopy of certification of kinship showing relationship of family members between applicant and inviting individual. These can include marriage certificate, birth certificate, certification of kinship issued by the Public Security Bureau or notarized certification of kinship.
