All travellers will need a PCR negative report, which has been taken no more than five days before arrival.

Fully vaccinated tourists heading to the island may now upload proof of their vaccination in lieu of pre-travel COVID-19 testing and won't be required to undergo any testing before or after arriving, according to the Bahamas Ministry of Tourism. Unvaccinated travelers are also allowed to head to the Bahamas, but must show proof of a negative COVID-19 PCR test taken no more than five days before arriving. Unvaccinated travelers are also required to complete a daily health questionnaire and take a rapid COVID-19 antigen test on the fifth day of their trip. Children 10 and younger are also exempt from testing.

All travellers require a 14-day quarantine period upon arrival.

All travellers will need a PCR negative report, which has been taken no more than five days before arrival.

      Bahamas COVID-19 travel restrictions

      • Entry is open
        The Bahamas are now open for commercial flights from all countries, as well as charter and private flights and sea vessels, however availability is limited.
        Prior to arrival requirements
        Valid passport. Valid national passport with at least 6 month remaining validity after the date of departure.
        Valid visa. Please see the instructions above and apply.
        Negative COVID-19 test. All arrivals over the age of 2 will be required to present a negative PCR or rapid antigen test, no older than 3 days(72 hours). Unvaccinated travelers, ages 12 and older, entering The Bahamas must obtain a negative COVID-19 RT-PCR Test (including PCR, NAA, NAAT, TMA or RNA) test taken no more than three days (72 hours) prior to the date of arrival.
        Health form. Passengers and airline crew must have an approved "Bahamas Travel Health Visa" with a QR code obtained on the same site.
