The letter should be printed on company letterhead stationery, addressed to the Consular Mission Chief, and signed by a senior manager. The letter must adhere to the following guidelines: briefly introduce the applicant; state the nature of the position being offered, salary structure, and duration of the contract.

  • Certificate of Employment. Work certificate. Please provide a copy of the applicant's employment contract signed by the representative of the company or organization employing, hiring or sponsoring the trip, stating specifically the job to be performed by applicant, the duration of the contract, as well as the fact that employer takes full financial responsibility for the applicant. This document needs to be authenticated by a Public Notary and should be addressed to The Consulate General in Houston.

  • Personal letter. Statement authenticated by a Public Notary indicating that applicant agrees to abide by Angolan laws.

  • Police clearance. Notarized Police Clearance Certificate authenticated by the Department of State stating that applicant has no pending criminal proceedings.

  • Vaccination certificate. International Vaccination Certificate or Medical Certificate of Health.

  • Diploma. Diploma or Certificate of Achievement.

Angola COVID-19 travel restrictions

  • Entry is open
    Angola remains closed for travel, while domestic restrictions are mostly lifted.
    Prior to arrival requirements
    Valid passport. Valid national passport with at least 6 month remaining validity after the date of departure.
    Valid visa. Please see the instructions above if visa is needed and apply.
    Negative COVID-19 test. Air passengers must show proof of a negative PCR test from within 72 hours prior to arrival.
    Health form. Passengers must complete a Travel Registration Form 72 hours before departure. The form can be found on our site.
    Upon arrival restrictions
    🏠Quarantine. All allowed travelers must undergo quarantine for at least 7 days, and will be released from quarantine their are tested negative after the 7 day period.
