  • Itinerary. A copy of round trip tickets or detailed itinerary for the duration of the trip. The applicant's name must be on itinerary.

  • Proof of accommodation. A copy of hotel reservations or other lodgings for the duration of the trip. The applicant's name must be on the reservation.

    • Briefly introduce the applicant (please specify employment status/position held in the company by applicant).
    • State the nature of the business to be conducted (ie. business meetings, contract negotiations, etc.) and the names and addresses of companies to be contacted in Nigeria.
    • Specify the type and desired validity of the visa (ie. a one year multiple entry business visa).The invitee should also accepting full immigration responsibilities.
    Please note that inviter's signature in the invitation letter should be the same as per their passport (not short or different signature).

  • Pre-Approval invitation letter. Pre-Approval invitation letter from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the destination country. The company must also provide a copy of Chamber of Commerce license.

  • Letters of Reference. Notarized letters of reference: The letters should be written by individuals who know you and can act as character references. The letter should be addressed to the Embassy of {country} and should state the writer's relationship to you.

  • Notarized marriage certificate. A notarized copy of the applicant's marriage license.

  • Health insurance. Proof of international health insurance and specifically covering travel to the destination country is required. Applicants can get a free quote and purchase valid travel insurance from our affiliate.

  • Letters of Reference. Notarized letters of reference: The letters should be written by individuals who know you and can act as character references. The letter should be addressed to the Embassy of Suriname and should state the writer's relationship to you.

  • Business License. Business license of the inviting company.

  • Diploma/School-leaving certificate. Copies of diplomas and certificates + Legalized (Dutch/English)

  • Employment letter. A copy of a letter from your employer on business letterhead, with contact details, purpose and duration of the trip and that you will be returning to your current job. Suriname COVID-19 travel restrictions

  • Entry is open
    Suriname's borders are open for vaccinated travelers, while many restrictions are still in place domestically.

    Suriname’s borders are open for fully vaccinated individuals. Fully vaccinated persons do not require permission to travel to Suriname and are not bound by the quarantine obligation. As long as they have the following: Proof of complete vaccination, Negative PCR test and valid travel documents.
    Prior to arrival requirements
    Valid passport. Valid national passport with at least 6 month remaining validity after the date of departure.
    Valid visa. Please see the instructions above if visa is needed and apply.
    Negative COVID-19 test prior to arrival. Visitors must present a negative RT-PCR (NAAT) test taken 72 hours before departing to Suriname.
    📝Health form is required for all travelers arriving in Suriname. A complete Public health passenger locator form as well as travel health form are needed to be presented upon arrival.
    Upon arrival restrictions
    🏠Quarantine. Unvaccinated visitors will need to quarantine for 7 days upon entering Suriname. Fully vaccinated visitors with approved vaccination certificates do not need to quarantine.
