  • Visa application form. Fully completed and signed application form.

  • Passport copy. A clear scan of the information page of your valid, signed passport with at least the length of stay requested and has at least 2 blank visa pages. Original and Copy. Please do NOT send your original passport.

  • Passport-type photograph. Two recent photos in color (US passport size), with a uniform and clear background,
    preferably white. Please do not staple or use any other option apart from glue to
    attach the photo to the form.

  • Proof of residency. Immigration status in US (not applicable for US citizens): Green Card, valid US student visa,
    work permit (stamp on the passport) or parole. Original and Copy.

  • Student ID. Student Card and/or Driver's license to prove their legal residence in our jurisdiction(Original and copy).

  • Certificate of Admission. An ORIGINAL Certificate of Admission with signature and stamp, issued in Spain by any authorized university or school, verifying enrollment as a full‐time student, leading to obtaining a degree or certificate. The certificate must detail: Name of the program, duration (start and end dates), address, phone number, name of the person in charge of the program (the certificate of admission must be presented in Spanish).

  • Financial Support. Proof of financial means, at least $700 USD per month of stay. Accepted forms: A letter from the school in Spain assuming full financial responsibility during your stay, proof of financial aid or scholarship, personal bank statements, or a notarized letter from the parents or legal guardians guaranteeing support. Notarization instructions can be found here.

  • Health insurance. Proof of public or private health insurance from an insurer recognized and authorized to operate in Spain. The insurance must cover all risks normally covered for nationals and must be maintained for the entire duration of the authorization. It must cover at least all the preventive, diagnostic, treatment and rehabilitation assistance activities that are carried out in health centers or socio‐health centers, as well as urgent health transport.

  • Medical Certificate. A recent doctor’s statement, dated no more than three months before the application date, with the doctor or medical center’s letterhead, duly signed, stamped and translated into Spanish.

  • Criminal Record. Certificate of criminal record dated no more than three months before the application date, stating that applicant does not have criminal record in countries where it has resided for the past five years. Not apply for students under 18 years old. Original and Copy.

  • Mandatory form before entering country. The form you will fill may be checked at the borders of Spain whether you have filled in this form or not, and If you haven’t filled in the form or made misleading statements, you may face legal and administrative sanctions.

  • Visa application form. Fully completed and signed application form.

  • Original passport. The passport must be valid at least 6 months after the intended date of departure from the territory of the destination country and has at least 2 blank visa pages.

  • Proof of Employment. (contract of employment or other document proving that the person performs work through communication technology for a foreign employer or his own company which is not registered in Spain), that is
    • statement from the employer or third-country national (as proof that the person performs work through communication technology), and
    • contract of employment or service contract with a foreign employer, or
    • copy of the registration of his own company and proof that he performs the said tasks through his own company.

  • Proof of Financial Support. Initial investment and proof of investment income

  • Proof of Sufficient Funds. Show evidence of having sufficient financial resources to conduct your work/business. The salary equal to or higher(2x) than the minimum wage (SMI, or Salario Mínimo Interprofesional)

  • Medical Certificate. A medical certificate from a doctor that you have no serious medical issue that is a threat to the public (issues within the last three months)

  • Health insurance. Proof of international health insurance(travel or private health insurance must cover the territory of the Spain) with a minimum coverage of EUR 30,000, specifically covering travel to Schengen states is also required. The policy should cover all expenses for repatriation, emergency medical aid, and hospital treatment for the period of stay. Applicants can get a free quote and purchase valid travel insurance from our affiliate.

  • Business plan. A business plan (pre-approved by one of the organizations the Spanish government deems suitable (e.g., ATA, UPTA, UATAE, CIAE, and OPA)

  • Criminal Record. Proof that he/she has not been convicted of criminal offences from his/her home country or a country in which he/she resided for more than one year immediately before arriving in Spain.

  • Visa application form. Fully completed application form.

  • Passport copy. A clear scan of the information page of your valid, signed passport. The passport must be valid at least 6 months after the intended date of departure from the territory of the destination country and has at least 2 blank visa pages.

  • Passport-type photograph. A digital passport-type photograph taken within the last 6 months. This may be taken using a cell phone against a white wall provided if it meets the standards of a passport-type photograph.

  • Proof of Employment. Hold a valid work contract in countries outside Romania. Must proof of employment that is outside of Romania that can be performed, managed or supervised using digital means (laptop, internet etc.)

  • Certificate of Employment. Employment (full-time or part-time) outside Romania or ownership of a company outside Romania for at least 3 years before submitting the application.

  • Employment letter. A copy of a letter from your employer on business letterhead, with contact details, purpose and duration of the trip and that you will be returning to your current job. If you are self-employed, please include a copy of your business license and tax return and a declaration explaining the nature of the applicant’s stay in Romania.

  • Company profile. For Business owners: Company profile or Memorandum that states the company information.

  • Business registration. A copy of the applicants organization's Certificate of Incorporation or business registration in the country of origin.(If applicable)

  • Business plan. A business plan (pre-approved by one of the organizations the Spanish government deems suitable (e.g., ATA, UPTA, UATAE, CIAE, and OPA)

  • Proof of Financial Support. Proof of earning: Present a valid proof of income for the last six months which should be three times the Romanian average gross salary of 6,095 LEI – nearly €3,700 or $4,170 per month.

  • Proof of accommodation. Proof of accommodation that shows a proof that you have a place to stay in Romania.

  • Health insurance. Proof of international health insurance with a minimum coverage of EUR 30,000, specifically covering travel to Schengen states is required. The policy should cover all expenses for repatriation, emergency medical aid, and hospital treatment for the period of stay.   • Medical Certificate. A medical certificate from a doctor that you have no serious medical issue that is a threat to the public (issues within the last three months)

  • Health insurance. Proof of international health insurance(travel or private health insurance must cover the territory of the Spain) with a minimum coverage of EUR 30,000, specifically covering travel to Schengen states is also required.   • Business plan. A business plan (pre-approved by one of the organizations the Spanish government deems suitable (e.g., ATA, UPTA, UATAE, CIAE, and OPA)

  • Criminal Record. Proof that he/she has not been convicted of criminal offences from his/her home country or a country in which he/she resided for more than one year immediately before arriving in Spain.

  • Visa application form. Fully completed application form.

  • Passport copy. A clear scan of the information page of your valid, signed passport. The passport must be valid at least 6 months after the intended date of departure from the territory of the destination country and has at least 2 blank visa pages.

  • Passport-type photograph. A digital passport-type photograph taken within the last 6 months. This may be taken using a cell phone against a white wall provided if it meets the standards of a passport-type photograph.

  • Proof of Employment. Hold a valid work contract in countries outside Romania. Must proof of employment that is outside of Romania that can be performed, managed or supervised using digital means (laptop, internet etc.)

  • Certificate of Employment. Employment (full-time or part-time) outside Romania or ownership of a company outside Romania for at least 3 years before submitting the application.

  • Employment letter. A copy of a letter from your employer on business letterhead, with contact details, purpose and duration of the trip and that you will be returning to your current job. If you are self-employed, please include a copy of your business license and tax return and a declaration explaining the nature of the applicant’s stay in Romania.

  • Company profile. For Business owners: Company profile or Memorandum that states the company information.

  • Business registration. A copy of the applicants organization's Certificate of Incorporation or business registration in the country of origin.(If applicable)

    Authorization Letter. A Notarized authorization letter to apply for the visa signed by the parents or legal guardians.

    Police Record. Copy of the Police Record Certificate for persons 16 years old and up from your country of origin or place of residence for the last five years, bearing the "Apostille of the Hague Convention". If the certificate is issued outside the US it must be duly legalized by the corresponding Consulate of Spain plus one copy. The original certificate must be kept and brought to Spain in case of being required by the Spanish Police.
    Medical Certificate. A doctor's statement on their official letterhead, indicating that the student has been examined and found in good physical and mental health to travel to study abroad and is free of contagious diseases or any other illnesses which could lead to public health repercussions according to the International Sanitary Regulations-2005 of the World Health Organization. Citizens of the European Union and their family members, provided that the latter travel with or meet said citizens, are subject to a specific legal system based on the rights recognized in the Treaties.

    Spain has opened its borders for all vaccinated travelers. Domestically, most restrictions have been lifted.

    Entry to Spain is allowed to residents of EU/EEA and Schengen Associated States; holders of a long-term visa issued by a Member State or Schengen Associated State; health professionals; transport, marine and aeronautical personnel; diplomats; students; highly qualified workers; humanitarians; residents from countries approved by EU and fully vaccinated individuals.
