Visa application form. Fully completed and signed application form.

Original passport. The passport must be valid at least 6 months after the intended date of departure from the territory of the destination country and has at least 2 blank visa pages.

Passport-type photograph. Include a passport style photo, with a white background, taken within the last 6 months. You may also choose to upload a photo to your order for us to print. There is a charge associated with this service.

Itinerary. A copy of round trip tickets or detailed itinerary for the duration of the trip. The applicant's name must be on itinerary.

Personal Letter. A personal letter from the applicant addressed to the Embassy of Papua New Guinea, explaining the purpose of the trip, dates of travel, cities to be visited, and place of accommodation. The letter must be written and signed personally by the visa applicant or their legal guardian. A tour company cannot provide the letter on the visa applicant's behalf.

Business Support Letter. A business letter from the sending company in the US. The letter should be printed on the company letterhead stationery, addressed to "The Consulate of Papua New Guinea, Visa Section", and signed by a senior manager. The business letter must adhere to the following guidelines:
• Briefly introduce the applicant (please specify employment status/position held in the company by applicant).
• State the nature of the business to be conducted (ie. business meetings, contract negotiations, etc.) and the names and addresses of companies to be contacted in Papua New Guinea.
• Specify the Type and desired Validity of the visa (ie. a one year multiple entry business visa).
• Guarantee of sufficient funds for travel.

Police clearance. A Police Clearance Certificate stating that applicant has no pending criminal proceedings.

Employment Invitation letter. Copy of the employment contract, signed by both the prospective employer in Papua New Guinea and the applicant.

Approval Letter. An official letter approved by the Ministry of Labor and Employment in Papua New Guinea.

Passport copy. Photocopy of the photo page of the applicant's passport.

Medical Certificate. Corona Virus Medical Clearance Certificate.

Health Declaration Form. Complete Corona Virus Supplementary Heath Form.

Approval Letter. A letter from employer/sponsor, outlining the reasons for their travel, to the following government agencies for approval:

Approval must be received from both Agencies prior to making a visa application and evidence of your approval must be submitted to ICA with the visa application.

COVID-19 Test Result. Evidence of a negative RT-PCR test result for COVID-19 taken within a 7 day period prior to boarding the aircraft bound for PNG.
