The business letter must adhere to the following guidelines:
    Briefly introduce the applicant (please specify employment status/position held in the company by applicant).
    State the nature of the business to be conducted (i.e. business meetings, contract negotiations, etc.) and the names and addresses of companies to be contacted in the destination country.
    Specify the Type and desired Validity of the visa (i.e. a one year multiple entry business visa).

Madagascar COVID-19 travel restrictions

  • Entry is open
    Madagascar remains closed for travel, currently maintaining a State of Emergency domestically. Restrictions are not applicable to Malagasy citizens and Permanent residents. Some entry limited to diplomats, technicians working in strategic sectors, and civil servants with special travel orders.
    Prior to arrival restrictions
    Valid passport. Valid national passport with at least 6 month remaining validity after the date of departure.
    Valid visa. Please see the instructions above if you need visa and apply.
    Negative COVID-19 test prior to arrival is required to all arrivals to Madagascar. Travelers are required to present a negative PCR test, no older than 72 hours before departure. All arrivals will be tested again upon entry.
