Luxembourg COVID-19 travel restrictions

• Entry is partially open
  Citizens of the European Union and of the countries associated with the Schengen area are free to enter the territory of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, granted that they have a residence permit or a residence permit for family members of an EU citizen and/or a right of residence or a national long-term visa.
  
  Vaccinated arrivals from Albania, Andorra, Faroe Islands, Israel, Morocco, Monaco, Panama, Armenia, North Macedonia, San Marino, Switzerland, Turkey, Ukraine, the UK, the US, Vatican City, Moldova, Georgia, New Zealand, Serbia and more can also enter Luxembourg. They need to have a vaccine certificate issued by Luxembourg authorities.
  
  Most travelers from other countries remain prohibited, though exceptions are in place for essential work, study, and family reasons.

  Prior to arrival requirements

  Valid passport. Valid national passport with at least 6 month remaining validity after the date of departure.

  Valid visa. Please see the instructions above if visa is needed and apply.

  Negative COVID-19 test Passengers must have a negative result of a test that detects SARS-CoV-2 nucleic acid or a COVID-19 rapid antigen test, issued at most 72 hours before departure from the first embarkation point.
  
  This does not apply to:
  - passengers younger than 6 years;
  - passengers with a COVID-19 recovery certificate. The passenger must have tested positive at most 3 months before arrival.
  
  For any person, aged 12 years or older, authorized to enter Luxembourg (regardless of nationality), it is compulsory to present, before boarding a flight to Luxembourg any of the following stated on this site.

  Upon arrival restrictions

  🏠Quarantine There is no requirement to quarantine when entering Luxembourg for most arrivals. Arrivals from India are required to quarantine for 7 days.

  😷Masks are recommended.
